I have a great belief in the power of group therapy. In my ten years experience of co-leading long term groups I have seen people make enormous changes. Because you are interacting with a group of others, an effective therapist can make the group a place where you can begin to see your blind spots and maybe even how you are getting in your own way. In individual therapy you tell your therapist what you are struggling with. In group therapy the group members can give us the feedback we need to help us gain a deeper understanding of ourselves. Group psychotherapy can reduce depression and anxiety. It can also help you change negative patterns in your life and help you feel more connected to others. If you are interested in becoming more self-aware and in understanding how you impact others, group therapy may be for you. In sharing your current struggles with other members of the group in a safe and confidential place you can understand your reactions as well as how you impact others. This is a newly forming ongoing psychotherapy group for men and women limited to eight members. Please don't hestate in contacting me with any questions you may have.
